Model Uses

The 5 Priority Model Uses in Nebraska

In 2018, the Nebraska Department of Education developed a working document, Key Messaging for EdReady Nebraska, to help clarify and define the best use of EdReady for Nebraska. As part of this work, five key uses were identified, along with corresponding use case success studies.

EdReady is designed for those students who want to:

  • supplement their skills while taking a math or English Language Arts class
  • identify and revisit possible gaps in identified math or English Language Arts skills
  • practice math and language arts skills related to a variety of career pathways
  • reinforce foundational skills for future learning in math and English Language Arts
  • minimize ‘summer learning loss’
